A Bit of Background
Here at Alleviate, we are driven by the recent increase in reports of domestic and family violence in 2020 due to COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions. This rise in abuse has been recognised as one of the most significant issues facing vulnerable Australian's including women, children, and the elderly. With domestic abuse affecting one in six Australian women, Alleviate and our partners aim to reduce, support and bring some hope to these survivors and their families.
